DESCRIPTIONThis project explores the gap between the institutional archive of the British Museum and individual memory. Through an experiment involving thirty participants, five archival images were repeatedly redrawn from memory over the course of a month, revealing how recollection selectively transforms reality.
The resulting publication presents these visual distortions as an essay on memory as an interpretative and inherently manipulative process, framed by introductory texts by Borges, Akutagawa, and Calvino.
